Dear Madame Holiday; What ever happened to "Portia?" I just finished reading your story. I too am a "scribbler". Writing a book is akin to having a baby, the whole deal. (BTW, I am a native New Yorker via birth and attitude.) How about those Yankees!!!! Thank you for writing. What grabbed me was the cover photo. The little girl, haunting and heart felt. Thank you for producing a host of books that aren't about "tha hood" and "fast life" complete with sex, drugs, and money. As a poet I appriciate you.

You've done it again. I am so looking forward to the next book its a shame. I find myself daydreaming about what is going to happen or what I want to happen in the bext book. Portia has lived the life of an older woman and I am wondering if things will turn around for her or will she change knowing there is someone she has to change for. There are so many ideas swarming in my head I sometimes have to write them down. PS Love your choice of characters names in Secrets and Wild Innocence.

Pleasure talking w/you yesterday. I am impressed w/ the website. If you can integrate it in the future, you should have the song "Moody's Mood for Love" by George Benson playing while individuals are perusing the website. You are right, you do have your female lead going through some serious issues. I hope the sales are going well for your trilogy. Your ability to wrap your feeling and expressions around the English language, and conveying them to your audience, is truly your natural gift (helped out by that Law School education no doubt).

Hi Moody, I believe you are an associate of Valerie Merrit. I received a few e-mails from you over the summer advertising different things. To be honest, I had no idea who you were, until one day, I received an e-mail from Valerie advertising one of her Jazz shows and that's where I saw your name. I sent Valerie an e-mail inquiring about you, just generally asking who you were. She assured me that you were legit. Normally, if I don't recognize a name, I usually delete the e-mail. Anyway, I plan to patronize your books. I read all the time. I spoke with the girl today from Black Horizon Books in reference to your books, she higly recommended them. If possible maybe one day we can meet for lunch. Thanks for responding so quickly to my e-mail about the book signing. I was impressed by that alone. Good luck with your success. I look forward to meeting you very soon.

When is the next book coming out. I think that Portia and Malik has potential to become a couple only if they both are willing to work on it. They have to communicate with each other about their feelings for one another. She will be second to his work but more like number one when he is not working, if she can not handle the job situation like just leaving when duty calls, that could be a problem, but I like them together with the excitement and seeing each other. That is very romantic.

Focus on reflection will it ever be explained? Let it happen naturally find solace in my refrain. So saith Moody...This is one of many excerpts of Moody's work I could have chosen to distinguish her guest book and my signature in it with something of significance. It contains, to me, her lawyer who is so proud of her, two things which speak perfectly of Moody--reflection and naturalness. Great Work Moody ---Keep it up! Con mucho gusto, y mucho abrazos tambien.
